Bottle size: 750 ml
Natalie's Score: 89/100
A full-bodied, classic Bordeaux from the strong 2012 vintage. Firm tannins so decant 1-2 hours. Blackened fruit, toasty oak and cigar box. In 1979, Marie-Christine daughter of Henri Ducourt bought this estate on the Left Bank of Bordeaux just outside of the Graves region. It has 60 hectares of vines and the Chateau, originally built in 1348, has been renovated.
Food pairings: prime rib steak, roast lamb, oyster and kidney pie, game terrine.

|Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:|
Lovely ripe berry and floral aromas. The palate follows with concentrated berry flavours, baking spice, finishing with a long savoury and earthy note. Acidity is high and juicy. Enjoy this Medium+ bodied red with grilled steak. Tasted Feb 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
|Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:|
Pale ruby, medium -bodied and not overly complex. Tannins are polishing and acidity medium(+). Some blackcurrant, black raspberry, cherry. Meant to be enjoyed now.
Good entry level Bordeaux at $16.

|From Saint-Émilion, Chateau Larroque (2012) is from a lesser-known estate. Château Larroque is on a plateau near the Graves appellation, in the village of Coimères and is run by the Ducourt family. The wine is elegant with classic notes of blackcurrant, blackberries, tobacco, licorice ad dried herbs. - Community Wine Reviews|
