Coffee, smoke, pencil led and toasty oak swirl around black fruit and a pleasant bitter, tannic grip in this robust red wine. Decant 1-2 hours and serve with filet for optimum pleasure.  This AC wine finishes with vanilla smoke and cassis. Perfect with steak. A strong vintage for even Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux wines.

Food pairings: grilled beef, lamb, meat-based pasta dishes.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Quite vibrant at 10 years old! Tasted in 2020, this Medoc Bordeaux is showing aromas of black currant, graphite, leather, smoke, black tea, and spice. Tannins are still quite firm, fruit is ripe and slightly dried, but still lots of life left. Be sure to decant for an hour and enjoy with a rare steak.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
