Blackberry jam wrapped in smoky, toasty oak. Big, black and brooding with layers of full-bodied pleasure. Great price. Tannic grip: decant 2 hours.

Gabriel Israel rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A great example how the same grape tastes differently in different countries/regions.
This is a French Malbec that tastes like French wine :)
Medium-full body with prunes and blueberry notes. Some greenness. Tannins are still noticeable on the second day. Needs some time - 3-5 years. Goes well with food.
It's great when a Malbec priced this moderately will also age well for several years. Full-bodied with lots of smoky, dark fruit aromas. Source: Natalie MacLean
