Wine Type: Red Wine

Natalie's Score: 90/100

Firm grip on the palate of this Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes. Tastes almost Rhone-like in it's depth and concentration of black raspberry and cedar brush flavour. Finishes with oak spice, smoke and pencil led. Great value. Decant 2 hours and enjoy with a rare steak or hard cheeses.

Meritage food pairings: pork chops, turkey, grilled rib steak, coq au vin.

From Medoc, Chateau De Panigon (2010) still has some firm tannins. Decant and have this Wednesday Wine with a cheesy meat lover's pizza. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
