Spectacular for the price! Dark and rich with a concentration that's as deep as fleshy black plum liqueur, though this is an ultra dry wine from Michel Coudroy. Balanced and stately. Decant 2 hours and enjoy with a rare hunk of meat, whether on your plate or sitting across from you.

This robust Bordeaux blend of Merlot and other traditional grapes won a Gold Medal at the Concours Général Agricole in 2012 in Paris. The wine comes from the Montagne Saint-Émilion district, imparting a terrific balance to the rich fruit flavours. - Community Wine Reviews
