A full-bodied, balanced, pleasant wine with dark fruit, smoke and a savoury note through the mid-palate. Some dried herbs on the finish. Great price for Bordeaux. Food pairings: hearty casserole featuring beef and root vegetables. Best Beef Wine

Save for 2016 Gold medal paris 2012
This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2012 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. A layered and expressive nose, evoking warm suggestions of coffee, chocolate, cedar, and spice alongside generous dark fruit. The palate demonstrates well integrated oak, ending with even more chocolate and coffee. A dream for a cold, wintry eve. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, June 2012
