|Holly Bruns rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:|
I really liked this. There was something new in the glass each time I came back to it: mushroom, violet, mineral, tobacco, black liquorice, cherry and plum. The effects of oak were reserved and the gentle tannins and acid were nicely balanced to leave a pleasant effect on the palate with a long fruity finish.
|Winner of a Gold Medal at the 2010 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. This well-priced Bordeaux offers up notes of plum, cherry, cedar, smoke and tar. Good concentration throughout, with fine tannic structure and nice length. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.|
