Ripe black plum and toasty oak aromas on the nose of this Australian shiraz, with an amazing acidic zing on the palate for food. Full-bodied and supple. This wine was designed for steak. Blackberry and vanilla smoke on this finish. Highly recommended.

Shiraz food pairings: gourmet burgers, mutton with mint and coriander, pizza, steak.

Reviews and Ratings

Chapel Hill (2014) is a Shiraz from cooler climate McLaren Vale, South Australia with ripe black fruit, rich blackberry, dark chocolate, toasty oak and smoky flavours. Full-bodied, robust and juicy, this is a rare steak wine. The winery's vineyard was established in 1865 and is nestled between olive groves, overlooking the hills of the McLaren Vale. Cooling sea breezes roll in from the Gulf of St Vincent allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and to greater complexity. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
