Natalie's Score: 92/100

This Californian sparkling wine producer is owned by one of Champagne's most revered wineries, Moët & Chandon, the same house that makes top-of-the-line Dom Pérignon. Chandon is actually no newcomer to the scene having been founded in the 1970s, and the first winery to make sparkling wine using the traditional Champagne method. This bubbly offers terrific value for the money; a great bottle to serve at small or larger gatherings given its taste: price ratio. Crisp, clean and dry with aromas of green apple and baked bread. Terrific!

Sparkling Wine food pairings: fried chicken.

A Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine (or Champagne) has only red wine grapes in the blend, so Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier in this case, and no Chardonnay. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
