CedarCreek Estate Winery Pinot Gris 2011
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
CedarCreek Estate Winery Pinot Gris 2011 Wine Review
Crisp and fresh with white melon and dry white pear aromas. Good mouth-watering action for food. Medium-bodied and clean. 4.4/5 Pinot Gris food pairings: Alsatian onion tart, seafood.

|10% of our Pinot Gris was left to soak on skins overnight. In addition to a cool pink colour, the resulting juice added texture and peach notes to the wine. We smell Peaches and cream and we taste more peaches and just a little melon.|
