Juicy, meaty and savoury with gorgeous layers of tart blackberries and a touch of beetroot and black raspberry. Full-bodied and delicious. Merlot food pairings: grilled pork tenderloin.

Over the past 20 years, we've experimented with oak. A lot. And what we discovered is full-bodied red wines need at least 18 months in it to age properly - a decision that sits well with our palates and less well with our accountant. Fortunately, we're not aging wine for our accountant's pleasure, but for yours. We smell Raspberry and a little beetroot. We taste Blackberry and chocolate.
