Lovely and refreshing with lime lift acidity for shellfish. Green apple and grapefruit notes. MINE: Chardonnay Musqué is an aromatic mutation of Chardonnay. It is grown principally in the vineyards of Canada's Niagara Peninsula and New York's Finger Lakes. The grape is so named because of its heady musky grapey perfume. The wine is typically off-dry with a medium body. Cave Spring Vineyard makes a consistently good Chardonnay Musqué year after year with a peppery lime finish on its (2014) vintage. OTHER: Great value in a very fine example of musque, with the florality of this chardonnay clone nicely contained and layered. It's mid-weight, balanced, just barely off-dry. Love the restrained vanillin, green banana, peachy fruit. This very elegant wine, with very good to excellent length. Tasted Nov. 2016. Score - 90 (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Dec. 22, 2016). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
