Natalie's Score: 87/100

Vintages Wine Panel: Winner of a Gold Medal at the 2010 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. Translucent purple, with bright strawberry, cherry, pepper, and a lifting violet character on the nose. The palate is dry, with a crisp acidity and nicely integrated fruit carried through the medium-long finish. A superb value, this will work with a variety of lighter meats. My note: Juicy, generous wine with just the right amount of mouth-watering acidity. Ripe blueberries and tart cherries. Smooth and ready to dance with so many dishes.

Gamay food pairings: ham.

Jason Solanki rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Cherry, strawberry aromas and flavours. Some pepper notes. Finishes a touch smoky. Light-medium bodied with a medium-long finish. A lighter style of wine that appears unoaked and ready to drink now. Tasty!
