Toasty and refreshing with an expensive looking label which is always a plus at fancy get-togethers where you don’t want to blow the budget but serve good stuff. White peach and melon and baked bread. The Alsace wine region is right next to Champagne, so it shares many similarities in climate and soil, and thus style. Pair with sushi and shellfish.

Crémant d'Alsace Blanc De Blancs food pairings: sushi, fried chicken, turkey, grilled halibut.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Crisp and dry. Beautiful bubbly with stone fruit and honeydew melon. Accessibly priced, great value and crowd pleasing. Paired well with salty prosciutto and aged salty cheeses. Tasted June 2017. 90 points. BespokeTastings
Craig Kuziemsky rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Baked bread, peach and lemon curd flavors. A great value sparkling wine that would pair well with seafood such as broiled halibut
Simon Chen rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

I like the smoothness of the bubbles. Dry, citric and bright acidity Good for the price.
Melanie Lloyd - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Made from handpicked grapes using the traditional method, this bubbly is subdued and not overly expressive in terms of aromas. Rich pear pastry is most prominent on the nose followed by peach and hints of banana cream pie and hazelnut.

On the palate, the rich pasty follows through with notes of grapefruit and a slightly bitter nutty finish. It is medium bodied with nice fine bubbles and moderate acidity. This wine has some opulence and offers excellent value for its low cost.

WINE-FOOD PAIRING: This would pair well with creamy sauces or with rich seafood.
This Alsatian sparkling Blanc de Blanc wine is made in the Méthode Traditionnelle with second fermentation in bottle. Very versatile, pair with fried chicken or sushi and shellfish. Enjoy now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews
