Mocha-espresso aromas on the nose with fleshy ripe blackberry and plum flavours on the palate. Full-bodied and smooth. The grapes for this wine from four different vineyards, picked at four different times. Lovely, long espresso-anise finish. Truly one of Argentina's flagship wineries. Malbec food pairings: lamb cutlets, beef tenderloin. Luscious Lamb Wine

The indication of “historic rows” on the label is a nod to the fact that the Catena family has tended these vineyards since 1902. This wine is a blend of four vineyards, with the majority of fruit from Altamira and Nicasia. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, undated.
