Natalie's Score: 91/100

Rich, deep and so damn seductive. Oh my goodness! Savoury and mouthwatering. This wine tickles the senses and delights the palate.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: rare herbed steaks.

More Wine Reviews and Ratings

Louise Wilson ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Rich with flavours of ripe blackberry, plum and mint. Full bodied and well framed by plush tannins and judicious oak. Excellent with grilled sausage and garlic mashed potatoes. Enjoy through 2019. Tasted June 2014.
Aromas of smoked meat, black fruit, blackcurrant and tobacco create a beguiling nose. Excellent replays supported by a lifted acidity that really brings the fruit to the fore. Superbly structured, this will reward 2-3 years in your cellar, but can be enjoyed tonight, decanted. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Sept. 2013

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
