A tasty, straight-up, full-bodied red wine at a great price. Perfect for parties and pizza night. Black fruit and toasty oak aromas. This smooth red finishes with dark spice and black olive.

Food pairings: beef souvlaki, bison burgers.

Melissa Pulvermacher WSET rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

This is a bang-for-your-buck wine made up of Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grapes. The nose is reminiscent of rich, blueberry pie and sweet vanilla. A full-bodied, medium acid and medium tannin wine with the blueberry pie following through onto the silky palate. The vanilla (oak) flavours are more apparent on the palate, but the spice and jammy fruit help balance it out. A long finish on this fruit-driven wine. Pairing: turkey meatballs with blueberry sauce. (Nov 2014)
This robust red wine blend of Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz grapes (Tempranillo) from Sogrape features black fruit and oak. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
