This Italian red wine is slow to age, but as this is the 2009 vintage, it has come into its own. Seductive aromas of black fruit, wild violets, truffles and smoke. Full-bodied, very smooth and just the perfect amount of acidity for roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

The 2009 vintage of the Giacomo Bartolommei Brunello di Montalcino is a classic Italian red wine made from Sangiovese grapes. The winemaker is decidedly hands off in his methods. This wine was aged for 36 months in Slovenian oak barrels. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
