A towering, blockbuster BC red wine made from the classic Cabernet Sauvignon grape. Burrowing Owl has earned its reputation as one of BC's -- and Canada's -- best producers. This robust BC Cabernet offers aromas of wild cassis, tart blackberry, graphite and smoke. Needs cellar time, then decant 2 hours: firm tannic grip. Beautiful structure, long finish. Perfect for a prime rib.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled New York strip loin, hard cheese, braised pork shanks, veal chops.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
