We don't see a lot of Albariño, that refreshing white wine from northern Portugal, on the liquor store shelves, so here's your chance to try it. This producer is very consistent and has a great reputation for zesty whites. Clean, crisp and fresh with bright lime-lemon aromas and mouth-watering white grapefruit flavours. Great aperitif or food companion. This vibrant white wine hails from the northern region of Spain where the climate maintains the crispness in style. Perfect for a wide range of dishes from fresh seafood to salads. Finishes with green apple and lime.

Albariño food pairings: seafood, shellfish, salad.

This crisp Portuguese white wine made from the Albariño grape features terrific minerality. The 2012 vintage was a tough one, with the grape harvest down by 40%. Lucky for us as drinkers though as that resulted in more concentrated flavour of the grapes that were produced and went into this wine. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
