Root beer and mocha on the nose of this full-bodied, generously oak red wine made from Garnacha grapes harvested from hillside vineyards 3,000 feet above sea level. Finished with black raspberry liqueur. Perfect for grilled pork chops or blackened chicken.

This full-bodied Spanish red wine is made from the estate's oldest vines which are 100% Garnacha vines planted from 1925 and 1945. The soils are a mix of decomposed slate and gravelly clay. Yields are very low at just less than one ton of grapes per acre. The wine was then matured in large French oak casks. Winemaker Jorge Ordonez offers superb craftsmanship. - Community Wine Reviews
