A blockbuster California Zin: smoky, juicy and rockin with black fruit flavour. Yes please! A terrific, full-bodied Californian Zinfandel with classic aromas of black and purple plums wrapped in smoke. Pair with grilled meats.

Zinfandel food pairings: lasagne, barbecued lamb loin, grilled duck breast, Italian sausage burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Nice ripe overripe plummy fruit on the nose. Followed by more freshness on the plums on the palate. A seam of dryness contrasts a sweet core.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An approachable California Zinfandel with major floral and blueberry notes. It's medium bodied (good weight) with mild tannins, high acidity, and an overall crowd pleaser. Enjoy with pulled pork sliders. Tasted April 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
From the Delicato Family Vineyards, a terrific, full-bodied Californian Zinfandel with classic aromas of black and purple plums wrapped in smoke. Pair with grilled meats. Lodi is home to some of the oldest Zinfandel vines in all of California sourcing its wines from vines that range from 30-100 years of age. There is grilled pork ribs in this wine's future. Enjoy! - Community Wine Reviews
