More Wine Reviews and Ratings

Laimrig is Scottish Gaelic for wharf or jetty. Medium-deep copper-orange colour with aromas of caramel, smoke, vibrant peat, hay and clover. This is bottled at cask strength (54.4% alc./vol.). Without water it’s very dry, hot and spicy with intense clover and peat tones. With a splash of filtered water, it’s dry but very approachable. The floral and peat qualities are refined and the hot and spicy notions fade into the background. This medium-full-bodied Single Malt has a medium-long to long smoky/peaty/floral finish. It needs that little splash of water to let it all come brilliantly together. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
