Bouchard Père & Fils Pinot Noir 2008
Bouchard Père & Fils Pinot Noir 2008 Wine Review
Vintages Wine Panel: Light ruby red with aromas of beetroot, incense, sour cherry, bacon fat and plum. Dry, youthful Pinot with quite elegant and lively fruit tones. A fine seam of acidity and moderate tannins bring balance to this well-made wine. Medium bodied with a very long, crisp, fruity finish. Will evolve in cellar for 2-3 years, but it really doesn’t need it as it will drink beautifully tonight. My note: gorgeously ripe fleshy cherries with huge mouth-watering action. Yes, this wine has acidity but it’s fantastic, especially with a variety of dishes from turkey to seafood. 4.6/5 Pinot Noir food pairings: grilled duck breast, grilled pork, pheasant, turkey, seafood.
