Beautifully tart black cherries on the nose and palate with a satin seductive texture. Medium-bodied with layers of complexity and a long finish. Enjoy it with planked salmon or roast turkey tonight. Dried herbs and violets on the nose with polished tannins on the palate. Great length and bouquet. Pair with duck confit.

Food pairings: planked salmon, roast turkey, roast breast of veal.

Terrific Turkey Wine

Reviews and Ratings

Bouchard Père & Fils (2014) is a benchmark Old World Pinot Noir from the Gevrey-Chamberton Appellation Controlée in Burgundy. The wine is silky-satin in texture with tart but ripe red cherries, dried herbs and violets on the nose and palate. Tannins are soft and rounding. Bouchard Père & Fils have been making wine in Burgundy since 1731. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
