Vintages Wine Panel: Remarkably fresh and lively for a Cali Zinfandel. Abounds in boysenberry, raspberry, plum and dark chocolate aromas, plus some lovely cherry tones. Dry, vibrant, with relatively gentle fruit (for a Zin) beneath. There’s a subtle spiciness on the finish. You could enjoy this red as a sipper. My note: This organic wine has only 10 mg/L of free sulphur. A lovely balanced Zinfandel with classic brambleberry, blueberry and blackberry notes. Full-bodied and ultra-smooth without a grippy tannin in sight. Perfect for barbecue.
Zinfandel food pairings: grilled lamb chops with rosemary, tuna steaks with a black pepper rub.
