Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

A nice light Valipolicella with ripe cherry fruit flavors, soft light tannins and moderate acidity. Cherries are dominant on the palate and a hint of vanilla. An excellent wine with soup or pasta.
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Bright ruby red with violet tinged edges. The bouquet reveals fresh cherries on the nose. On the palate, flavours are predominantly ripe cherries withhints of plums and sweet spices, such as cinnamon and cloves.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Rouge rubis brillant avec des teintes de violet sur les bordures. Le bouquet révcle des cerises fraîches au nez. Au palais, les saveurs sont principalement celles de cerises mures avec des soupçons de prunes et d’épices sucrées comme la cannell

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
