Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec 2007
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Bodega Catena Zapata Malbec 2007 Wine Review
Great depth and complexity with full-bodied aromas of dark fruit, coffee and vanilla spice. Supple and generous texture with amazing concentration of flavors. Balanced with great length on the finish. 4.6/5 Malbec food pairings: asado (barbecue) steak, pasta with tomato-meat sauce, bacon dishes.

Catena Malbec by Bodegas Esmeralda is a full bodied Red Wine from Argentina that is rich with tannins. There is a lot of depth to this red wine. You’ll find lots of aromas of blackberries, licorice, mint, and a layered texture of plum and chocolate. Catena Malbec has a creamy texture that has a long and weighty finish.
