Natalie's Score: 95/100A rich river of velvet flavor flows across your mouth: try not to gulp this wine too quickly (regret is an empty bottle). Aromas of black plum, mocha and dark berries. Great length and depth. This wine was aged for 18 months in new French oak. A benchmark wine on a planetary scale. Available in the Vintages November 21, 2009 release, though you may find it elsewhere before then.
Malbec food pairings: spicy sausages, pork ribs, polenta with cheese.
