Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Black Hills Estate Winery Alibi 2011 Wine Review
A tasty blend of 75% sauvignon blanc and 25% semillon grapes. Fresh green apple notes with no heavy oak influence. A citrus lift on the finish. 4.4/5

|A refreshing fruit driven blend with fragrant aromas of lemon, citrus and melon enhanced by herbaceous grassy notes.|
Citrus notes follow through on the palate accented by tropical flavours of kiwi and passion fruit along with white
peaches and honey. Beautifully complex with a rich and silky mouth feel, fresh acidity and lingering finish. A perfect
accompaniment to citrus marinades and vinaigrettes.
