Toasted alond goodness suffuses the senses along with a touch of an oxidized sherry nose that's attractive. It's softer and richer on the palate with tangerine and hazelnut. Long, lovely finish. Beautiful dessert wine, especially with biscotti. Divine Dessert Wine

Malcolm Lamont WSET Adv rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Beautiful golden verging on copper colour for Jura's sweet vin de paille. Sweet honey aromas are accompanied by a certain cough syrup, or medicinal note. Sweet and concentrated flavours but certainly not a cloying texture.

Would go well with fruity deserts like lemon custard or apple pie.
This is fascinating, from the amber-gold colour in the glass right through to the delicious finish. The aroma profile is superb, opening with oxidative notes of roasted almond, white raisins and dried apricot followed by iced tea, hay bale, candied ginger and honeycomb. The palate is a full-bodied and impressively complex marvel; the flavours just go on and on. This is a must-try. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, July 2013
