The origins of this liqueur are intriguing. The Royal Physician to His Majesty King Edward VII ordered that it be made in 1903 for his highness during morning rides. Today, this fine ginger liqueur is produced by Berry Bros. & Rudd in the Netherlands. Pair with gingerbread or ginger cookies.

Ginger Liqueur food pairings: dark chocolate nibs, chocolate ganache torte.

From Holland, The King's Ginger Liqueur is spicy with sweet ginger aromas, vibrant with ginger and toffee flavours on the palate. The liqueur is made in the Netherlands by macerating ginger root in spirits. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
