Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

My love of Priorat continues with this Herencia 2012 vintage. This Priorat is dark and brooding with a caddish smooth seduction on the nose and palate. Gobs of red and black fruit; raisin and prune; touches of cedar and resin. The acidity is balanced and cleansing while the length is long on a fruit-driven finish. This is a sure fire crowd pleaser and excellent value at $23. Punching under it's weight class at that price. Tastes pricier.
Tasted: October 2016
This wine is a blend of Carignan, Grenache, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from vines between 40-75 years of age. Pair with venison burgers. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
