Beringer Vineyards Stone Cellars Chardonnay 2008
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Beringer Vineyards Stone Cellars Chardonnay 2008 Wine Review
Bursting with ripe blackberries, blackcurrants and cassis. Great structure with a judicious use of oak. Decant this full-bodied quaffer for an hour. 4.4/5 Chardonnay food pairings: roast poultry, grilled vegetables or chicken caesar salad.

|The Stone Cellars Chardonnay is a wonderful expression of California|
Chardonnay. Ripe apple flavors, enticing citrus aromas and a touch of
baking spices and French vanilla round out the palate. The wine’s
balance of bright fruit, delicate spice and crisp finish make it a great
pairing with any number of foods.
