Gorgeously concentrated and rich chardonnay with full-bodied weight and texture. Aromas of butterscotch, vanilla smoke and green apple on the nose and palate. Terrific for the price point!

Chardonnay food pairings: grilled chicken or fish, rich risotto.

Reviews and Ratings

Darlene Myers - CAPS Student rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Just what you would expect from a beautiful California Chardonnay. Pineapple and apple, with vanilla and butterscotch, and oh so very food friendly. Another great wine from the Beringer family of wines.
The Beringer Founders’ Estate Chardonnay is the perfect combination of
pear, apple and ripe tropical fruit flavors, with a hint of citrus and a
classically round mouthfeel.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
