I do love a Cabernet Sauvignon from California and this is a great one. Luscious flavours of black fruits and plums that you would expect from a Cab, plus a hint of cedar. Vanilla and smoky oak make for a beautiful smooth finish.
|Amazing nose of concentrated cassis, blueberry, woodsmoke and vanilla. This is a ripe Napa blockbuster that is structured, balanced and marvellously integrated. The concentrated fruit core is backed by fleshy tannins. Solid, long finish. Cellar 2-4 years, or decant and savour tonight. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, Feb. 2013|
