Arniston Bay Western Cape Chenin Blanc Chardonnay 2009
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.
Arniston Bay Western Cape Chenin Blanc Chardonnay 2009 Wine Review
A pleasant, melon-ripe white with a crisp green-apple acidity. Nice aperitif. 4.3/5 Chenin Blanc Chardonnay food pairings: chicken dishes with savory sauces, ethnic dishes, spicy foods, on its own, salads and soups, vegetarian dishes.

|This masterfully blended white wine has lovely pineapple and ripe melon flavours on the nose following through to a limy full|
middle-palate and finishing in crisp freshness. This wine can be enjoyed now and will keep well for a further 2 years from vintage.
The small fishing village of Arniston, with its unspoiled coastline, white dunes
and turquoise waters, is situated at the most southerly point of the African
continent. It is best known today for its 200 year-old fisherman’s village, Kassiesbaai. The village is a national monument and its whitewashed, thatched cottages have stolen the hearts of many artists and photographers.
