Reviews and Ratings

rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

On the nose, alluring citric aromas with white flowers nuances and a hint of white cantaloupe. In addition, a beautiful minerality that reminds me of the sea breeze of Santorini. In the mouth, medium to full body. Rich texture with flavors that remind me of something that resemble of smoked lemons and confit lemon peel and toasted nuts on a mineral bed. Very high strung sour mineral finish. Perfect for a bbq fish or fried calamari
The 2012 vintage of this Greek white is fermented and matured in stainless steel tanks. The grapes are from Santorini but in the Cyclades appellation. This wine is a blend of 90% Assyrtiko, with 5% each of Athiri and Aidani grapes. The average age of the vines is an impressive 50 years old. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
