Produced by Don Sebastiani & Sons. Great price for Napa pinot! Generous oaking imparts loads of dark chocolate and mocha on the nose and palate. Dark cherries come through underneath. Full-bodied and smooth. Try it with veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

From Napa & Sonoma Counties, California, U.S.A. Very fragrant with ripe cherry, vanilla, baking spice and toast. Palate repeats with mocha touches. Smooth tannins and elegant finish. Enjoy with planked salmon, duck, mushroom risotto.
Tasted May 2017
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted June 30, 2017 with good friends, colour colour pale ruby, thick legs, Aroma, raspberry, cherry, cranberry, cola, mushroom and earth. Taste, dry, with medium plus fruit, medium minus acid, sweet tannin and medium body. I liked this wine because of the cola cherry reminds me of the cherry cola I had as a kid, but without the sweetness.
Good price on this one.
