Anselmann Schwarz Riesling 2007
Note: I publish batches of reviews that I call Good Values Wine Picks. These are from the regular section of the liquor store rather than the Vintages section, and tend to be lower priced and the most widely available of all wines. The last four reviews I did were: March 5, February 26, September 11 and July 26.

|Interestingly, the Germans call Pinot Meunier (the third grape of Champagne) Schwarzriesling (black Riesling). Little seen as a stand-alone grape, Pinot Meunier can be quite pretty as the lead. This example makes the case rather convincingly with its inviting aromas of black cherry, raspberry and blueberry. Dry and fresh, this is a pleasant wine. Source: Vintages Wine Panel|
