Vintages Wine Panel: Made from 100% Shiraz grapes grown in Angove’s Nanya vineyard, this Aussie sticky is an exceptional value. Expect aromas of chocolate, candied berries and smoked meat. Rich and soft, it makes an excellent finish to a fine meal or match it with Stilton cheese. We recommend decanting before serving. My note: Here’s an interesting twist on Vintage Port: It may not have the same complexity or depth but it’s very tasty with black plums and cassis. Extremely affordable and a little goes a long way since all you need is a few ounces per glass. Full-bodied warmth and loaded with layers of flavor.

Shiraz food pairings: raspberry-chocolate cake, cherries jubilee, almonds, blue cheese.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
