Reviews and Ratings

Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A refreshing and aromatic dry white made from a blend of Setúbal and Arinto varietals. Herbal and citrus aromas are replayed on the intensely flavoured palate. Crisp acidity and a lingering citrus finish make this a delightful choice for hot weather dining.
Tasted August 2016
Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

From one of the oldest and the most prestigious wineries in Portugal, comes this intensely aromatic blend of 75 % Moscatel de Setúbal and 25% Arinto. The grapes are harvested in mid-September to preserve Moscatel’s natural acidity and aromatics before they are vinified to dryness. Abundant floral notes with aromas and flavours of tropical fruit, grilled pineapple and litchis. Fruit forward with well-balanced acidity and medium finish. Serve well chilled as an aperitif or with a succulent grilled lobster.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
