Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Only 500 cases produced. Medium-bodied. Ruby red with a hue of pink. Juicy red raspberry jump from the glass. Cherry pie, rhubarb, red licorice, red apple(?), black pepper on the nose.
Palate delivers all those delectable aromas with the black pepper making more of an impact. Nice peppery, smoke finish.
A nice treat this time of year. Less candied than Beaujolais Nouveau. Winery suggests serving slightly chilled and a large glass. Drinking nicely now but could age through 2016.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
