|Deep purple colour with smoky black cherry, boysenberry, coffee bean and wet earth aromas. Dry, simultaneously fruity and crisply refreshing. Good concentration and extract. Plenty of ripe fruit, but also still obviously young with moderately grippy tannins. This is a Gamay that proves it can be cellared (give it 2-3+ years). Medium-full bodied with a fairly long finish.
