13th Street Gamay Noir 2008 Wine Review
Natalie's Score: 89/100Serious oak but it’s integrated with the fleshy blackberry notes. Mocha and espresso smoke wrap around a black fruit core. This is a very full-bodied style of gamay noir and I really like it. This wine won a Gold Medal at the 2010 Ontario Wine Awards.

Black cherry, burnt toast, smoke, raspberry and some vanilla aromas. Black cherry, raspberry, menthol flavours. Touch of acidity at mid-length, finishes smooth with some bitterness. Medium-bodied. Some light tannins make it ageable, but definitely ready to drink now. Having this tonight with oven-baked chicken.
