Top Pinot Grigio Wine

My wine reviews include Pinot Grigio wines with high scores for their superb quality and taste, and their prices often reflect this as they tend to be more expensive. These Pinot Grigio wines achieve a score of 90 points or higher out of 100 and are often the wines that have the greatest aging ability and are therefore great Pinot Grigio wines for your cellar. They are also often the top ranked wines on many lists, especially in fine restaurants, with ratings that reflect their craftsmanship. You'll also find my reviews of Pinot Grigio wines that are less expensive, but still represent great value. This is just a small set of my wine reviews: when you join my wine community, you can access all of my reviews.

Come alive aromas and flavours of lime and white grapefruit! It's time to savour life and whatever dish is beside your glass. Medium-bodied, refreshing and dry. This also makes a lovely aperitif. Tiefenbrunner Pinot Grigio 2010
D.O.C., Südtirol-Alto Adige, Italy
Vintages Wine Panel: This Pinot Grigio, from an area known for crafting serious white wines, displays a delicate bouquet with hints of pear and candied fruit. It’s dry, round (from the extended lees ageing) and medium bodied with a fresh seam of acidity that gives the wine fine balance. The ever-versatile Pinot Grigio pairs easily with all sorts of appetizers. My note: I recommend this zesty, zippy Pinot Grigio year after year. Consistently great producer with attractive white melon, grapefruit and white peach. Love it! Pinot Grigio food pairings: appetizers, asparagus dishes, seafood courses. Alcohol: 13.5%  Sweetness: Extra Dry  750 ml  Drink: 2011‐2014  Price: $17.95 Score: 90/100

Bollini Pinot Grigio 2011
D.O.C., Trentino, Italy
Lime citrus on the vibrant nose of this terrific pinot grigio. This wine has a lot more character than most pinot grigios I taste yet it's still delightfully crisp and clean. There's some green apple and lemon on the palate. Good body and intensity of flavour with a nice finish. Pinot Grigio food pairings: pasta primavera, salmon, almond and panko crusted halibut, wild mushroom risotto. Alcohol: 13%  Sweetness: Extra Dry  750 ml  Drink: 2012‐2016  Perfect Pasta and Tomato Sauce Wine  Best Value White Wine  Price: $16.95 Score: 90/100
