Top Cabernet Wine

My wine reviews include Cabernet wines with high scores for their superb quality and taste, and their prices often reflect this as they tend to be more expensive. These Cabernet wines achieve a score of 90 points or higher out of 100 and are often the wines that have the greatest aging ability and are therefore great Cabernet wines for your cellar. They are also often the top ranked wines on many lists, especially in fine restaurants, with ratings that reflect their craftsmanship. You'll also find my reviews of Cabernet wines that are less expensive, but still represent great value. This is just a small set of my wine reviews: when you join my wine community, you can access all of my reviews.

RavensWood Vintners Blend Cabernet Sauvignon 2007
California, United States
Vintages Wine Panel: Ravenswood may be one of the three Rs of Zinfandel (Ridge and Rosenblum round out the trifecta), but they have also proven to have a very deft hand with Cabernet Sauvignon. Filled with cassis and vanilla aromas and flavours, this juicy and fruity wine is balanced out by just the right touch of tannin. My note: I adore the savory meaty notes in this wine: they give it depth and the lip-smacking desire for a top up. Pass the bottle, will you? Lovely, expressive notes of blackberry, cassis and fleshy plum. Superb. Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: barbecued steak, grilled lamb chops. Alcohol: 13.5%  Sweetness: Dry  750 ml  Price: $17.95 Score: 90/100

Natalie Spytkowsky has 14 years of experience as a winemaker garnering many awards locally and internationally for both her wines and meads.
