Crispy Maple Spareribs

Crispy Maple Spareribs

Serves: 4-6
Preparation Time: 1 1/2 hours
Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients:
3 lbs lean pork spareribs
6 oz pure maple syrup
1 Tbsp chili sauce
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
salt & freshly ground pepper

Cooking Instructions:

Par-boil ribs in salted water for 20-30 minutes until tender.

Roast ribs on a foil-lined and greased pan in a pre-heated oven at 400F for 20-30 minutes.

Combine the remaining ingredients in a pan and bring to boil for 5 minutes. Remove ribs from oven and reduce heat to 350F.

Cover ribs with the sauce. Bake uncovered for a further 30 minutes, basting frequently, until well browned and coated.
