Best-Ever Brocooli SaladIngredients
For the salad
5-6 cups broccoli florets
6 - 10 strips of crisply fried, cooled bacon to taste - I use more)
1/2 small red onion, chopped
1/2 cup currants (or dried cranberries)
1/2 cup salted sunflower seeds
For the dressing
1 cup whipped dressing, such as President's Choice whipped dressing (not mayonnaise)
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1. Place all salad ingredients in large bowl.
2. Mix sauce ingredients in a small separate bowl, and pour over the dry ingredients.
3. Mix together thoroughly and chill for at least 6 hours or overnight.
