Yalumba Shiraz Viognier 2007, South Estern Australia, Australia: Terrific and consistent producer of lip-smacking delicious and full-bodied reds. Love the way the way that the Viognier lifts and brightens the Shiraz flavors in this blend. Notes of black cherries and plums. 524926 14.50% D 750 mL  $18.90 Score: 89/100. May 7, 2009 Full Review
Errazuriz Carmenere 2008, Aconcagua Valley, Chile: Rich, round and full-bodied, a warm embrance of fleshy dark fruit. Mocha, coffee. Aged seven months in French and American oak. This wine will have its way with you. Closed with a screwcap. 16238 13.50%  750 mL  $13.95 Score: 88/100. March 24, 2009 Full Review
Cono Sur Cabernet Sauvignon Carmenere 2008, Colchagua, Chile: Loaded with black cherry liqueur, ripe raspberries and fleshy plums. Full-bodied, plush and delicious! Drink: 2009-2009. 553792 13.50% D 750 mL  $15.00 Score: 89/100. May 2, 2009 Best Value Red Wine. Full Review
Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc 2008, Marlborough, New Zealand: Vintages Wine Panel: This perennial classic New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has exuberant aromas of gooseberry, grass, cream of asparagus, jalapeño peppers and melon. It's intense and lively with crisp acidity and a lingering, slightly minerally finish. My note: One of my favorite New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs, especially in this price range. Bursting with gooseberry freshness, lemon zest, passionfruit and lime. Medium-bodied. This one will wake up your mouth and stir your appetite. 316570 11% D 750 mL  $18.95 Score: 89/100. May 7, 2009 Full Review
Graham Beck Shiraz 2005, W.O., Coastal Region, South Africa: I keep coming back to this producer year after year, wine after wine: consistently great wines with lip-smacking aromas and flavors of fleshy blackberries, plums and cherries. A dark spice note on the finish is like the quivering end to a transporting melody. 607796 14% D 750 mL  $16.95 Score: 90/100. March 28, 2009 Full Review
Folie À Deux Merlot Syrah Gewürztraminer Rosé 2008, California, United States: Vintages Wine Panel: The latest threesome from the Ménage á Trois series features Merlot, Syrah and some Gewürztraminer just to spice things up. Almost neon pink in color, the aromas suggest flowers, cherry, rhubarb and tropical fruit. Off-dry, approachable and easy to drink, this fruity, balanced wine has a slightly spicy, seductive finish. A great summer sipper with friends. My note: Light and happy, redolent of field strawberries and summer breeze. 120220 14% MD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 87/100. June 6, 2009 Full Review
